Hervé Coureil: It is pretty important to us to be able to activate our ecosystem. As important also is to have an ecosystem that consists of a multitude of different partners.

Vernon Turner: So you how do you find those partners?

Hervé Coureil: There are a couple of ways. We are, for instance, spending a lot of time with venture capital firms, of course, because we work with some of those firms and because they are a great way to identify new trends and interesting startups and then maybe we are engaging with their portfolio of companies and creating more specific relationships with them. We also spend also a lot of time with some of the universities, who are great partnerships. we have met a lot of interesting people. A lot of interesting early stage startups, for instance, with our activities with MIT.

Vernon Turner: It sound like you are making a combination between venture capital, startups, and the academics perhaps that don’t have legacy business models that allow them digital transformation.

Hervé Coureil: That is true and, at the same time, we also have large-scale partners that are important: the big system integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini. They are pretty important. They have scale; they have a large ability to customize solutions; they have C-level relationships in many companies. So we don’t want our approach to be overly startup-centric. It is to a large part true, but we also want to rely on some of the larger companies that would understand the problem in a slightly different way than we understand it and from this can arise very interesting conversations.
