1 cup Guinness
1 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cups Dutch-process cocoa powder
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cup sour cream

Bailey’s Irish Cream Icing
250g cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup unslated butter, room temperature
1 lb icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons Bailey's Irish cream

Sponge Toffee
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/3 cup clear corn syrup
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda

This Easter sweet table is the perfect accessory to your family dinner this holiday. The naked chocolate cakes and sugar cookies are easy to make and DELICIOUS to eat. Involve your family and friends to help put this together and GET CAKING!

Electric or stand mixer
3 X 9” round pans lined with parchment paper
Rubber spatula
Small offset palette knife
Piping bag fitted with a #825 star tip
Rolling pin
Ziploc bags
Chef’s Knife

Ingredients for Buttercream:
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large egg whites
1 pound unsalted butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Ingredients for the Root Beer Chocolate Cake:
2 cups root beer
2 cups unsalted butter
1 ½ cups dutch process cocoa powder
4 cups all purpose flour
4 cups sugar
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
4 eggs
1 1/3 cups sour cream
¼ cup red candy melts

Add your favourite movie night goodies! I used:
Licorice
Starburst
Ruffles chips
Pretzels
Buttered popcorn
Sour keys

This sweet treat looks just like a savoury GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH! The pound cake, modeling chocolate and berry coulis substitute the bread, cheese and ketchup of a traditional grilled cheese.
